Matthew 5:48
Be Perfect As God is Perfect
48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Romans 8:28
We Know that in All Things God Works for the Good of Those Who Love Him
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
God created the universe and when He did, He used math, logic, organization, and reasoning...God used math as His alphabet to design the universe...So as scientists today study the details and intricacies of the universe, they will see math, reason, and logic in its wake...God created the universe in such a way that it makes us look at the many different things He created and we better notice the special way God put everything together with His alphabet...And God created the universe and nature to run at a maximum efficiency...And God used a balance which He has included in the laws of the universe and the laws of nature...We might call these God's Natural Laws or God's Laws...So not only do we see the tangible things we can both see and touch, He created a Perfect Morality in this balance of the intangibles, like love, forgiveness, justice and mercy...And in these intangible things we can see that we cannot have love without forgiveness, and we cannot have justice without mercy...Somehow God has created both a tangible mathematically world and a in the beginning a Perfect World...
In these balances and efficiencies in God's Laws, God used His Math and finely tuned earth with His math for living creatures and man to live in it...And He created Adam and Eve, and gave them the Paradise Eden on earth to live in...And it was in the Garden of Eden that sin corrupted God's Perfect World...Man has made the earth and the universe imperfect by being disobedient to God...
Mathematician Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646-1716) was born in Leipzig...Leibniz was the founder of Calculus...And he used reason and logic to believe in God and the universe that God has created...He Believed that God is the Only Perfect Being...Leibniz reasoned that their could be no universe, but yet there is a universe...Something is here, rather than nothing...Leibniz formulated the cosmological argument succinctly: "Why is there something rather than nothing?... Leibniz's contingency argument for God was summarized by author and philosopher William Lane Craig, as follows: Everything that exists has an explanation of its existence...If the universe has an explanation of its existence, that explanation is God...
Author George MacDonald Ross in Leibniz Oxford University Press (Past Masters) 1984 writes: "Leibniz’s solution had two parts...The first was to admit that the universe was indeed imperfect, but to point out that its imperfection was logically necessary in order to preserve its distinctness from God, the Only Perfect Being...God could not be blamed for failing to contravene the laws of logic...The other part of his answer was to say that, although the universe was not perfect, it was the best possible – it was as perfect as it could be without collapsing back into God himself...Consequently, to blame God for creating this universe as He did would be tantamount to saying that He should not have created anything at all...
And through God's Logic and Reasoning and creation of something, and His Laws, we see that He wants love and goodness to prevail all over the world...We know that sin happens, but we better understand St. Paul saying that we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose...Because a sin has happened, God still wants the world to continue to be good and morally better, and He works at it, with His goodness even in the bad and sinful things to make the world better for us...
God's Law are balanced and efficient in both math but also in His Moral Being...Scientists are discovering more of the tangible part of God's Laws each and everyday...They are finding more and more mathematical patterns related to not only our planet, but to the universe and its included beauty...But also the case for right and wrong, or good and evil, also exist in God's Laws...
God's Law includes mankind's decent behavior...In our moral thinking, just think of a country where a parent or both parents were constantly chastising, suppressing, hitting and hurting their little children -over and over each and everyday...This would not be what a country we would think is doing right...This would be wrong morally...Or let us say that there is another country that is constantly abusing the elderly female and widows...The world would view that as morally wrong...We are ingrained in our souls this Right and Wrong...We are indwelt with this intangible part of God's Laws, just as the universe has these Divine Designs that make up the universe...God is everywhere and is in control...
