Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Job 42:1-6
Job Sees and Feels the Presence of our LORD
1 Then Job replied to the Lord:
2 “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
3 You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’
Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me to know.
4 “You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.’
5 My ears had heard of you
but now my eyes have seen you.
6 Therefore I despise myself
and repent in dust and ashes.”
Matthew 5:48
God is Perfect
48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Luke 18:19
Only God is Good
19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.
It is hard for me to understand the things I cannot see, such as the eternity of time and infinity...But I know infinity exists...How I know it I do not know...Infinity seems like a math lesson or issue to me and so I can see how infinity exists...And infinity is eternal...
Solomon wrote in Proverbs that we are to trust in the LORD with all of our heart...And not to lean on our own understanding...So we should trust that He exists, even though there may be days when we doubt that He does exist...Job believed in God, despite all the tragedies and through his suffering health issues...Job trusted in God and endured...And as Job did this, we need to learn from him that God is good, and has this Goodness and Perfection that is part of Him...God is Perfect and Good...And God is eternal and knows all things...He has Complete Understanding of things and Job realized this when he finally met God...
Author Philip Yancey wrote, “That, I believe, is also what faith sometimes requires: trusting God when there is no apparent evidence of Him—as Job did...Trusting in His ultimate goodness, a goodness that exists outside of time, a goodness that time has not yet caught up with.”...
There are sacred and holy things in this world and universe...
