Cosmetic changes that aren't possible through an existing cosmetic item may be possible through a Marauder rank Blessing.

General Cosmetic Info

When applying items such as saddle, ribbon or bell collar, it is permissible to move hair out of the way in a realistic way without changing the length or style of the hair. A carved bone beard comb is not needed in this case. 

Cosmetic updates to the Rukaan's body, fur or antlers must be lined to match the import lineart, except for blessings if they include the alteration as a part of the blessing.

Cosmetic changes, including blessings, cannot change the size of the import image or allow any part of the Rukaan to go out of frame/offscreen.

Adhesive

Adhesive can be used to add non-cosmetic items to the import, but they must be identifiable as the original item and cannot appear to be growing from the Rukaan (they’d be “pasted on”, not a natural part of the Rukaan’s body, though the attachment point can potentially be obscured by hair or other cosmetic objects). If you want to change the Rukaan’s body or have things growing out of them you’ll need a blessing!

Please note: Adhesive cannot be used to turn antlerless Rukaan into unicorns.

Carved Bone Beard Comb Underying Tails

Carved bone beard comb cannot change the flesh and bone or body of a Rukaan, only the length of the hair. For reference, here is the underlying tail for different body types.

Camouflage vs War Paint on Antlers and Hooves

Camouflage can be used to give the Rukaan's antlers and hooves the appearance of the Ancient element. These should be natural in appearance and follow the Ancient design guide rules.

War Paint can be used to give the Rukaan's antlers and hooves an unnatural color that does not resemble Ancient or any other element. 

Companions on Imports

Stalwart Companion / Adhesive Companion

The following applies an in-game companion to a Rukaan's import sheet by Adhesive cosmetic item or Stalwart Companion prompt set. 

• Companion depicted can be different color/breed from applied companion but must be same species (same scientific name). For example: 

  • A wolfhound could be used for an applied elkhound as both are breeds of domesticated dog (Canis familiaris). 

  • A Eurasian wolf could be used for an applied Fenrir (Canis lupus).

  • An albino brown bear could be used for an applied brown bear (Ursus arctos).

  • A leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius) could not be used for an applied common lizard (Zootoca vivipara), as they are different species.

• Companion must be a natural color variant of the species depicted.

• Companion cannot use the official group item art on the import sheet.

• The pictured companion can have up to three cosmetic items from the following list added using cosmetic items. Apply the cosmetic item through the cosmetics thread as normal; they can be applied to just the companion or both the Rukaan and the companion. Normal rules for things like coverage, etc apply to cosmetics applied to the companion.

  • War Paint

  • Bell Collar

  • Battle Scars

  • Pretty Flowers

  • Ribbon

  • Wearable Cloak

Marauder Blessing Companions

Companions can also be added to a Rukaan's import sheet by Marauder Blessings. 

• Companions do not have to be applied to the Rukaan to be added to the import. There does not have to have a corresponding companion in FoV.

• Companions added cannot be members of other ARPGs or copyrighted material.

• Companions cannot cover a substantial amount of the Rukaan on the import sheet.

• Companion must tie into the Rukaan's blessing.
