There are many items, traits, companions, professions and aptitudes that can affect the outcome of a breeding.
Unless otherwise noted, each breeding may only have one of each bonus applied. If both parents have the same bonus, the effects do not stack.
Aptitude/Profession bonuses are the only breeding bonuses that can be opted out of.
All breeding items apply to the entire breeding or, if it is specified that they only apply to one calf, to the first calf in the breeding. Note that items will still be used if breeding is unsuccessful, so choose carefully.

These traits can impact a breeding if possessed by a parent, but cannot be inherited.

Striking Succession - If this Rukaan has a mutation (albinism, leucism, melanism, chimerism), this trait grants a chance of passing that mutation to offspring in breedings. Stacks with Gerda’s Cultivation and Change Rune. If the Rukaan with this trait does not have a mutation, it has no effect. If both parents have this trait, it does not stack and the breeding submitter must specify which parent’s mutation is using the bonus.

Cloak of Glasir - If one or both parents has or carries red or liver, this item moderately increases the chances of passing liver and red base colors to offspring and decreases the chances of white and black offspring. Stacks with Jaerhons Rooster companion, Red-Headed Child trait and aptitude/profession bonuses related to base color.
Ullr's Skis - Slightly increases the chances of passing white markings (splash accents, piebald, snowflake appaloosa, blanket appaloosa, leaopard appaloosa) in all calves in breedings where they are present. Your Rukaan may also make a plea to the deity or spirit of their choice to increase their chance of breeding success! For this option, each parent may submit a new fullbody with background image or 500 word story with the Rukaan or their handler making an offering or prayer for the luck of their breeding (limit two per breeding; one for each parent). If desired, these can be combined into one submission with both parents fullbody with background or a 1000 word story.
Unlike the Devoted breeding image, which can only be used when one of the parents has the Devoted trait, offerings can be completed by any Rukaan when they are bred.
Offerings must have been accepted into the group gallery and rolled before the breeding can be processed. You must link a rune mark roll result comment when linking your offering piece in the breeding. We make every attempt to get all offerings through before the end of the month but we appreciate you helping us out by not submitting at the last minute.
Offerings do not need to be done by the user submitting the breeding or the owners of the parents. Each plea posted will increase the breeding’s success rate by 10%. You are not limited to the options listed below, they are simply an example!
An offering for Odin might be an axe bloodied from battle or corn for his crows
An offering for Freya might be a sleek cat to pull her chariot
An offering for Loki might be a secret no one else has heard
An offering for an unnamed wood nymph might be a necklace of braided flowers or a stone that looks like the moon
Remember to list all bonuses in your breeding form when submitting a breeding!
