Aptitudes are a permanent specialty akin to a career that a wild Rukaan can train in to achieve better results in certain activities! A Rukaan can only train in two Aptitudes. Aptitudes are not required to participate in the related activity, they just give you tasty bonuses!
For the tame equivalent, see Professions.
Your Rukaan is considered untrained in an Aptitude and receives no bonuses until they take on at least the title of Apprentice.
Aptitudes cannot be removed or changed unless:
a Rukaan undergoes the Passage of True Calling and changes their disposition to Tame
a Rukaan changes ownership and both the new and old owner agree to the removal of the aptitudes
Art Entries must be full body, coloured, and with a complex background. Shading is optional.
Literature Entries must be at least 800 words.
Only one Rukaan can apply for an Aptitude in each image, background characters are allowed however they will not be allowed to use the image as an entry.
If two Rukaan are members of the same herd and are applying to the same level, they may both be submitted in the same entry (both visible fullbody in colored art with a complex background or 1200+ word literature). Proof of herd membership must be included in the entry.
Aptitude/Profession entries can also be used as a Prompt Set entry, but cannot also be used for an activity of any kind.
Rukaan and entry must meet the specifications for the relevant rank described below.
Entries must be submitted to Aptitudes/Professions gallery folder.
