Crafting (Tame)

A Rukaan’s handler can use items they’ve found to make more useful items that help or boost their Rukaan. Any player who owns at least one Tame Rukaan may participate in Crafting. There is no chance of failure in crafting; if you have the ingredients you can make the item. If you do not have a tame Rukaan, you can obtain these items through trading with other members. 

Players may gain crafting bonuses from Blacksmithing and Leatherworking professions, the Fjord Horse companion, and may gain the ability to take a crafted item apart if they've gotten the Craftsman achievement.

Most ingredient items can be obtained from Exploring, Crafting or purchased at Merilian Marketplace.

Some ingredients may require Rune Magic to obtain. If you do not have a wild Rukaan, you can also obtain these ingredients through trading with other members, exploring in the locked Runewood area, Quests, Battles, or the Traveling Trader.
