Item Encylopedia
Here you can find basic descriptions of all items in the game. Follow the link to the deviantart page for each item to find more details including how to get the item, examples of uses and limitations, and directions on how to apply or redeem the item.
Companions
A companion may be applied to a Rukaan to give them a permanent bonus. Each Rukaan may have 3 companions unless otherwise specified.

Cosmetic Items
Cosmetic items may be applied to a Rukaan's import to change their appearance. Limitations and directions for use are listed on the image art.
Breeding Items
Breeding items may be applied to a breeding to give the player influence over the breeding's outcome. All are one time use items.
Rank System Breeding Items
These breeding items are earned through the Rukaan Ranking system by reaching various tiers.
Love Rune
Increases breeding success rate by 10%
Kroner value: 1,000
Chance of random breeding mutation (albinism, leucism, melanism or chimerism) in one breeding increases
Kroner value: 1,000
Guarantees Albinism mutation for the first calf in a successful breeding
Kroner value: 5,000
Guarantees Melanism mutation for the first calf in a successful breeding
Kroner value: 5,000
Guarantees Chimerism mutation for the first calf in a successful breeding

Guarantees Leucism mutation for the first calf in a successful breeding

Market Breeding Items
These breeding items which can be purchased from the Merilian Marketplace.
Increases breeding success rate by 10% in a breeding where the doe is wild.

Increases breeding success rate by 10% in a breeding where the doe is tame.

The sex of the calves may be specified when the breeding is submitted. All calves will be the same sex if multiple calves are born.

Other Breeding Items
These breeding items can be obtained through crafting, rune magic, events or activity drops.
Allows the player to specify one marking that will not be passed to any calves in that breeding.
Crafted Item.

When applied to a breeding, guarantees triplets if breeding is successful.Â
Activity Drop Item.
Kroner value: 5,000
The gods have noted your devotion and granted you the chance to create an offspring with a Rukaan of the same sex.
Event Item.

When applied to a successful breeding, one calf is rolled randomly without regards to the markings or features of the parents.
Boss Battle Reward.
Kroner value: None
Cannot be sold or traded.
Increases the chance of Blue, Champagne and Wine being passed to offspring in a breeding.Â

Horn of the Ancestors (Starter Slot)
Redeem for one unrestricted breeding permission to an available starter of your choice. Starter breedings are guaranteed to be succesful.Â

Cup of the Contemporaries (NPC Slot)
Redeem for one unrestricted breeding permission to an available NPC of your choice. NPC breedings are not guaranteed to be successful but work according to the NPC's rank.

When applied to a breeding, gives a moderate chance for the first calf to be born with stockings, cloaked or royal coat regardless of the coat type of the parents.Â

When applied to a breeding, gives a moderate chance for the first calf to be born with moose antlers regardless of the antler type of the parents. .Â

When used in a breeding, guarantees that the first calf in the breeding will be antlerless.

When applied to a breeding, prevents mutations (albino, chimera, leucism, melanism)

Armor
Armor gives a Rukaan a bonus in Battles and may optionally be added to their import as a cosmetic item. Obtained from crafting, rune magic, or activity drops.
Each Rukaan may have one armor item of each type (chaffron, crinet, peytral, crupper) applied.
Tack
Tack gives a Rukaan a permanent bonus in Shows or Feats or other areas.
Other Usable Items (One Time Use)
One-Time-Use items with various effects.
Stat and Trait Items
Grant your Rukaan a stat or trait or have other effects related to stats and traits
Redeemable for one (1) passable trait, must be used in conjunction with an uploaded import.

One existing trait on an uploaded Rukaan may be replaced with a trait of your choice.

Exploration Unlock Items
Allows your Rukaan to unlock exploration tiers or areas
Skip one stage of the storyline prompt (limit once per Rukaan) OR unlock an exploration tier with one fewer image of each area (limit once per tier).

Unlocks a secret Shipwreck Island exploration location for one Rukaan.
Kroner value: 5,000
Allows a Rukaan to permanently unlock a single locked exploration area if another Rukaan with the same current owner has already explored there.Â

Quest Bonus Items
Gives a Rukaan a bonus towards extra items in Quests
50% chance of an extra rolled quest-type item when completing a Migration quest.Â
Kroner value: 1,000
50% chance of an extra rolled quest-type item when completing a Solution quest.

50% chance of an extra rolled quest-type item when completing a Defense quest.

Import Update Items
Items that can change something on an uploaded Rukaan's import sheet
Can be used to change the sex of one Rukaan with an uploaded import.

Allows a Chimeric Rukaan to swap their genotype sides for purposes of marking inheritance.

Miscellaneous Usable Items
Items that don't fit into any other category of usable item
Can be used in a show, feat or NPC/Boss battle. Guarantees a First Place result for one Rukaan when applied to a group monthly show or feat entry. Guarantees a Win result when applied to a NPC or Boss Battle entry.

May be exchanged for a geno in the import token Treasury thread (see details on item).

These items drop from Explorations, Quests and Battles. While they have no immediate use, they can be sold or used in rune magic or crafting to create other items listed in other sections.Â
