Additional Layers

In addition to your Rukaan's design, there are a few other layers you may need in your Rukaan's import.

Backgrounds

Free to Use

Any of the backgrounds found in the official import template are free to use on any Rukaan import!

Any Rukaan can change their background one time for free and after that with a recreation stone. See the cosmetic item thread of the Design Approval area for this.

Restricted

These background are restricted to Rukaan who meet certain conditions. All are optional.

Activity Drop Backgrounds

Gamlefyr

This background can be found as a drop in the Gamlefyr seasonal exploration area and applied to any Rukaan (one time use).

Autumn Fields

This background can be found as a drop in the Timbervale seasonal exploration area and applied to any Rukaan (one time use).

Starglint

This background can be found as a drop in the Starglint Clacier Ice Caverns seasonal exploration area and applied to any Rukaan (one time use).

Brekkathorpe

This background can be found as a drop in the Shipwreck Island exploration area or Brekkathorpe seasonal exploration area and applied to any Rukaan (one time use).

Dragon's Lair

This background can be found as a drop in the Dragon's Lair exploration area and applied to any Rukaan (one time use).

Fuinmyrr

This background can be found as a drop in the Jotunheim exploration area and applied to any Rukaan (one time use).

Merilian Grand Arena

This background can be won as a drop from Ulrik the Unbonded tame battle boss and applied to any Rukaan (one time use).

Exploration Tier Locked Backgrounds

Black Sand Barrens

This background can only be used by Rukaan who have unlocked the Barrens exploration area or Exploration Tier 2. (Pathfinder Trait can unlock this background.)

Yggdrasil

This background can only be used by Rukaan who have unlocked the Yggdrasil exploration area or Exploration Tier 4.

Jotunheim

This background can only be used by Rukaan who have unlocked the Jotunheim exploration area or Exploration Tier 5

Stream

This background can be purchased from the Merilian Market. The background can be redeemed for either variant (Sunny or Overcast). It may be applied to any Rukaan (one time use).

Stormy Shore

This background can be purchased from the Merilian Market. It may be applied to any Rukaan (one time use).

Mount Eldfell

This background can only be used by Rukaan who were born from a breeding in which a Token of Dedication was used. The background can be redeemed for any official variant (Original, Red, Blue, Pastel).

Shipwreck

This background can be used by Rukaan who have reached the 1250 Rune Mark Reward level.

Adoption Center Ear Tags

Restricted

These ear tags are restricted to Rukaan who were adopted from the Rukaan Adoption Center. This is required for the import but does not have to be pictured in art. It can be removed from the import once they reach Thegn level.

You may use any ear tag color and recolor/shade them as you please, but they must:

Be visible from the thumbnail (no solid black ear tag on a solid black Rukaan)
Leave the runes on the eartag visible

Banners

Restricted

These banners are restricted to Rukaan who meet certain conditions.

Ancient Banner

This banner is reserved for Rukaan who existed before the 2018 group relaunch and went through the Ancient Transfer process. It is also used by import token genos upgraded with an Ancient Upgrade Token.

This layer is available in the import template.

Journey of the Heart Banner

This background can only be used by Rukaan who were born from a breeding in which a Token of Dedication was used.
