A large murder of seemingly harmless ravens have been put under some sort of enchantment, and are out of control! It wouldn't be a problem if there weren't so many of them! A signature form of dueling in the Norse culture- the exchange of insults in verse! This competition tests not your physical prowess but your ability to think on your feet and improvise biting poetry to tear down your enemy's confidence or standing. Having a Rukaan who is in tune with their rider and can move along with their rhythm is essential to sell the performance against this mounted orator. You may choose the design of your opponent.

The classic defense against mounted cavalry is a wall and a long polearm such as a spear or pike. In this challenge, a trio of spearmen form a wall of tall shields and the Rukaan and their rider must attempt to break through their wall to claim victory.

The axe-wielding, fur-wearing champion from a smaller nearby settlement has come to test their mettle. They ride a local breed of horse- short, solid, stubborn and fearless. They believe their homebred horse's training and agility are a match for any Rukaan, and they intend to prove it in the ring.

Lynx are secretive and shy, but every once in a while one will take down a small Rukaan or calf. You spot one silently stalking down a young calf in your herd. Will you be fast enough to get between it and its meal? (Must be a lynx, not another ARPG species)

Someone cast a protection spell over this portion of the woods, binding a spirit here to defend it. He usually appears as a shaggy bear with glowing eyes and horns, or an old man with a shaggy bear cloak and a helm with horns or antlers. Unfortunately he can no longer tell passing travelers from legitimate threats, and will lash out at anyone who enters his territory.
