You may choose any color you wish, though there are a few restrictions for certain modifiers that create specific eye colors.
Melanistic Rukaan must always display dark grey or brown eyes.
Albino Rukaan must always display pink, red or pale purple eyes.
Rukaan with Champagne modifier typically will have green, hazel or amber eyes, but this is not required.
White markings covering the eye typically will cause blue eyes, but this is not required.
Rukaan primarily show solid-colored eyes. However, they may have full heterochromia which creates two different-colored eyes, or sectoral heterochromia, which shows as two colors that create blocks of color that expand around the pupil. This is optional for all Rukaan.
Flesh color refers to the color of the Rukaan's nose, lip, pre-orbital gland ("tear duct" next to the eye), flesh under the tail and skin where it is visible through thin areas of the coat (areas such as around the mouth, under the tail and behind the elbows).
The flesh color may be visible within the following range on the standard and sleek types.
Longer-coated types follow the standard range but should not show skin color on heavily furred areas.
Maximum visible flesh on Standard coat
Longer-coated types follow the standard range but should not show skin color on heavily furred areas.
Maximum visible flesh on Sleek coat
More flesh is visible than on standard coat due to the shorter fur.
All Rukaan (even those with the White base color) will have dark grey or black skin and flesh unless they have a marking, modifier or mutation that alters it.
Flesh color does not have to be picked directly from the swatch, but must be within this range of hue, value/brightness and saturation.
Rukaan will have pink flesh when they have the Champagne gene or if the flesh is covered by a white marking.

White Markings remove pigment where they are present. They turn the flesh pink where the white marking overlaps with the flesh. These markings include:
Free/Natural White (free marking)
Splash Accents (white marking variant)
Appaloosa (Blanket, Snowflake and Leopard)
Piebald
If the marking touches only one side of the nose, the user may choose whether the nose is lightened to pink or remains dark.
If the marking surrounds the nose, the nose must be pink where the white marking touches it or cuts through it, or can be entirely pink.
Note: The nose flesh color can be changed with the War Paint cosmetic item if desired.

The Champagne modifier always changes the skin of the entire Rukaan to a pink/pumpkin color such as that found on horses with the Champagne gene.
The Blue modifier can optionally make the skin of the entire Rukaan a muted blue and optionally lighten dark flesh color beyond the normal dark flesh range. Cannot make the flesh more saturated than the coat.
The Wine modifier can optionally make the skin of the entire Rukaan a muted purple and optionally lighten dark flesh color beyond the normal dark flesh range. Cannot make the flesh more saturated than the coat.
The Olive modifier can optionally make the skin of the entire Rukaan a muted green and optionally lighten dark flesh color beyond the normal dark flesh range. Cannot make the flesh more saturated than the coat.
The Albino mutation changes the skin of the entire Rukaan to a pink tone.
The Melanism mutation changes the skin of the entire Rukaan to dark black.
