Rocky Rises

Map suitability: A small spur gully area suitable only for relatively short events. The map is surrounded by roads and fenced land making it a good candidate for instructional orienteering.

Access issues: Limited parking.

Assembly sites: There is only one suitable site at the intersection of Rocky Rises Rd and Drinkwater Lane. This has limited parking but attendance at an event here will be smaller than usual anyway. Competitor instructions.

Safety Issues: High traffic volume on Edwards Rd.

Map status: Mapped by Chris Creely in 2011 using a lidar base. Minor track update Feb 2022. Version 1.01
