From Bendigo approach via Strathfieldsaye and Axe Creek Rd. Turn left into Patons Rd. After 1,3k turn right into Lowndes Track. Follow for 2.7k to the saddles. 

From south approach via Sutton Grange Rd and Axe Creek Rd. Turn right into Patons Rd. Follow directions above.

There is limited parking for 10-15 cars in clearings at the saddle.   

There is no toilet at the site. When travelling from Axedale the last toilet is in Somerville Rd, Strathfieldsaye. 

When travelling from the south the last toilet is at Doveton St Elphinstone.
