Eppalock

This map is owned by Yarra Valley Orienteering Club. On occasions they allow Bendigo Orienteers the use of the map. 

Map suitability: Typical box-ironbark spur gully terrain. Little used because of the limited options for assembly areas.

Land Manager: The Eppalock Education Area is managed by Parks Victoria.  The southern section is part of Kimbolton State Forest managed by DEECA.

Access issues:.

Assembly sites:

1-. Unamed track off Ryans Rd  opposite Kimbolton Track. Competitor instructions.

2- Low Head Road. Lots of parking on a trangle of roads and a power line. Not within the Parks Vic area. Competitor instructions. 

3 - Scotty Track. Parking for 30 cars in a clearing and along Scotty track before it narrows. This is on the border between land managed by Parks and DEECA. Competitor instructions. 

Safety Issues:

Fast traffic at times on Lyell Rd.
