Approach via Phyllis St off the Calder Highway. It is 1,1k from the Calder to Gee Rd. The main parking area is just past the railway bridge.

 The main parking area is on the south side of the road will cater for up to 40 cars. The ground is a little rough so vehicles with low clearance may prefer to park in the first overflow parking area on Gee Rd. This has room for 30 vehicles. There is further overflow parking is available along Apeline Track, but again, this may be challenging for low clearance vehicles.

There is no toilet at the site. 

When approaching from Bendigo the last public toilet is at Rotary Gateway Park opposite the APCO service station.

Coming from the south the last public toilet is at the Ravenswood Service Centre.
