Assembly sites:

Neilborough Rd Surfacing - Parking either side of Neilborough road. Care with traffic on Neilborough Rd required as the local traffic is often at speed. Competitor Instructions.
Shadbolts Picnic Area. Parking for only 15 cars. Not suitable for the usual Bendigo event. Use only for a small training event. Competitor instructions.
Sandfly Gully Surfacing. Small area of parking. Challenging road access for low clearance vehicles.
Notleys Campground. Generally very well occupied by campers. Not suitable for event.
Millers Flat-Sandfly Rd intersection. Plenty of parking, but next to a busy road, with dust in dry weather. A fair way from the better terrain for orienteering. Competitor instructions.

Safety Issues:

A few mine shafts have been located, but they are obvious to competitors (Surrounded by large mounds)..

Map status: Mapping underway in 2025 using 2010 and 2020 lidar.
