From Bendigo approach via the McIvor Highway. From the Heathcote information centre drive 1.7k along McIvor Hwy towards Kilmore. Turn right into Spring Creek Rd. Drive a further 1.7 km south on Spring Creek Rd and turn left onto Hedleys Dam Track. The parking area is 550m along the track on a side track to the right..

From the Melbourne side - DO NOT TRUST GOOGLE MAPS. Approach along the McIvor Hwy and turn left into Spring Creek Rd. Follow directions above.

Parking is in the obvious clearing.

There is no toilet at the site. When travelling from Bendigo the last toilet is near the information centre in Heathcote.

When approaching from the Melbourne side of the McIvor Highway, the last public toilet is at the Tooboorac Public Hall.
