Travelling from Newbridge the road to Tarnagulla does a sweeping left turn. At the end of this turn is an old stone cottage and a road off to the left. This is Mitchell Lane. After Mitchell Lane crosses the railway line ther eis parking beside the road.

There is no toilet at the site. Travelling from Bendigo the last public toilet is in Newbridge. There is also one in Tarnagulla.
