HR Assistant Responsibility:
Liaison for HR support managing CourtsHR email account, general inbound telephone calls and other general employee intake/outreach efforts
Administrative support for FMLA and sick leave assistance
Assistance with onboarding and termination action entries in HRIS
Employment Verifications, including Unemployment Claims & Public Service Loan Forgiveness Assistance
Assistance managing leadership calendars and material preparation for boards and committees
HR website updates & maintenance
Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding Specialist Responsibility:
Primary subject matter expert for nonjudicial officer recruitment & selection, including advertisement and outreach services to maximize reach of potential qualified job candidates
Recruitment system administrator, including access management, user guidance/training, job postings and job applicant management assistance
Management consultation/coaching for job candidate assessments, interviews, other selection tools and procedures
Initiation of new hire/onboarding process via recruitment system
Compensation & Classification Specialist Responsibility:
Primary subject matter expert for employee compensation matters, including compensation policies and practices, general benefits and retirement guidance, employee and judicial officer retirement consultation/payout processing
Nonjudicial officer job and position classification, job analyses, position classification reviews, job/position development & adjustment, including salary range analyses and recommendations based on job market, labor data and statistics, etc.
Employee position management and HRIS transactions (promotions, reassignments. transfers, supervisory changes, org changes, career mobility, hot-spot guidance, general organizational management)
Offboarding process & central exit interview data management
HR Manager & Employee Relations Responsibility:
Primary subject matter expert for Employee Relations matters (employee development, performance management & improvement, misconduct/discipline, ADA, FMLA, etc.) including leave & sick leave bank/sick leave assistance
Lead or Assistant Investigator as assigned for investigations of alleged abusive conduct, discrimination, workplace harassment, and retaliation
Development and delivery of management & employee training on human resource matters as needed
Redundancy/backup for Deputy/Specialist responsibilities as needed
HR Deputy Director Responsibility:
Management of daily HR operations, systems, and department budget
Primary subject matter expert for HR data reports, mining & analysis
Direct oversight of nonjudicial officer recruitment, selection & onboarding functions
Consultation to Courts managers re: complex HR matters
Primary subject matter expert on career service grievances & appeals, and on HR investigations of alleged abusive conduct, discrimination, workplace harassment, and retaliation
Staff Human Resources Policy Review Committee [see Rule 3-402(5)]
Develops and delivers management & employee training on human resource matters as needed
Serves as backup for Director, Manager and Specialist responsibilities as needed
HR Director Responsibility:
Effective governance of HR matters [see Rule 3-402(4)]
Strategic planning assistance for State Administrators, Court Executives, etc. [see Rule 3-402(4)]
HR Policy administration [(see Rule 3-402(5)]
Secretariat/Staff as needed for Judicial Council, its committees and subcommittees
