Salary ranges and individual salary rates will increase by 3.5%. Employees are eligible regardless of full/part-time status, temporary or ongoing position status, probation status, or career service status. Employees who are at or above the maximum of their current salary range will also receive the 3.5%.

HB 449 provides the ability to grant bereavement leave for employees who are affected by a miscarriage or stillbirth.
SB 100 requires up to three weeks of paid parental leave be provided to eligible employees for the birth of the employee's child, the adoption of a minor child, or the appointment of legal guardianship of a minor child or incapacitated adult.
Medical Premiums. Employee premiums increased by an average of 6.7% for all plans. 2022-23 biweekly rates can be found here.
Vision Premiums. Vision plans increased approximately 1% overall.
Dental Premiums. Employee premiums increased by 1% for PEHP dental plans. Regence Expressions dental plan premiums increased by 5.6% overall.
Beginning July 1st, the Preferred Network will no longer be available to employees. Members currently enrolled in the Preferred Network must elect either the Summit or Advantage network during this Open Enrollment period. If not, PEHP will select a network on the member's behalf based on their claims history.
Beginning July 1st, benefits previously covered at 50% will follow regular coinsurance benefits. Benefits changing include breast reduction, blepharoplasty, TMJ non-surgical up to the lifetime max $1,000, vein surgeries, and infertility treatment. Preauthorization may apply.

The FLEX$ rollover limit increased to $570 for all medical plans beginning in 2021. That means the rollover amount applies to funds in the current plan year ending June 30.

Employees who do not qualify for an HSA, but choose the STAR or Consumer Plus plans are eligible for an HRA to be distributed at the same time and in the same amount as the HSA. However, an HRA is NOT eligible for the cash conversion options available for HSAs.
