Revised Work

Artist Statment:

For this project I decided to remake an older piece that was not very strong. I chose my first sustained investigation because it was a bit messy and there was no background.

I used watercolor and chalk pastel for the background, alcohol markers and pen for the characters, and snake skin in the background to make little wispies. 

I started with sketching out the overall design on a piece of paper. I changed a few of the characters to fit their sin more. For example, I changed Beelzebub to a pig type thing and I changed Lucifer to be generally more fitting. I also colored in the characters fully to give more emphasis to the color.
