Artists statement:

For this project, I had free range of what I was supposed to do. I decided to create a wire tree that was later edited.

I used wire, fake flowers, pliers, and a clay vase to create this.

I started off this project by clipping about 24 pieces of wire that were around 13 to 14 inches long. I then twisted them together and broke them apart to create branches, which lead to twisting them again. I bent the tips of three pieces of wire for the flowers, and the tip of one to create a heart. I originally wanted to create this because I had recently found out that my great grandmother was not doing too well. I wanted to make something for her before she passed away.
