Beautiful Oops

Artist Statement:

My goal was to take an ink drop and turn it into something new. I decided to make a hedgehog.

I used black pen and black ink to create this.

When I saw the ink dot I knew I could see something but I didn't know what. After observing for a few minutes, I saw a dark shaded hegehog. I decided to draw a simplistic smaller one across with a line or "pain of glass" between them. I added living and dead flowers on opposing sides to add more to the paper. I decided to add more detail to the hedgehog and background such as the lines that I didn't end up liking too much.
