Extended blind contour Drawing

Artist's statement:

I started out by drawing a blind contour image of my hand, a peer, and a melting clock from the painting The persistence of memory with oil pastel. When I was looking at the picture I couldn't really see much other than a dog head. I painted the head with different shades of brown gouache and added on from there. I tried to incorporate the rest of the scribbles but I couldn't think of anything. I turned it into a stuffed bear. The dog kinda reminded me of a genie in a lamp. I tried to make the picture resemble a dog genie and a bear.
