Donate Life

I was prompted to create a design for a poster that could be hung up in the walls of hospitals that displayed a positive message about organ and tissue donation. I chose to draw and color hanging wisteria flowers, and add a border and other details with black paper. I tried to make the words and overall design have a scrapbook affect to it. 

To create this I used alcohol markers to color in the flowers, and black paper to create the border. I used a paper knife to cut out the smaller details, and I used a sticker maker to turn the writing bits into stickers to apply them more easily.

At the start of this project, I thought that it was going to be much more difficult than it was. I made a quick sketch of where I wanted everything to be, than colored in the details.
