Artist's statement:

When creating my shoe images, I found it especially difficult to draw the frontal view of the shoe. I had to experiment with different shoes until I concluded on the original one. It took 4 sketches until I found a base of the shoe that I could work with, and the front view ended as my favorite. As for the other drawings, I went with the first sketch I made. I especially love the hand and rubber band one because before, I had never really been able to draw any sort of hand and it came out better than I thought. For all of the drawings I used a 2H pencil to sketch out the details, and I used a 4B pencil to add thick black lines. After I erased the sketchy lines.
