Logos

Artist Statement:

My task was to create two different logos each with something specific. one including a specific word, and one that is related to something at FHS.

To create this I used Photoshop.

My first logo was to take a word on a given list and create something out of it. I chose lizard. My first step was to find a reference photo that I could use. I traced over it in black and outlined the actual lizard so you could see it. I drew the word Lizard on the branch it was holding onto. For my second one I chose to make it based off of science, more specifically evolution. I was deciding between a velociraptor or a thresher shark. I chose a thresher shark as my reference. I drew out the shark and altered the tail a little to make it more visible. I erased a portion of the fin to add the word "evolution" to it then merged the two.
