Write an artist statement that discusses your successes and challenges of this project explaining, in detail, what it was like to try and photograph someone else.  Did you struggle putting your model at ease? :

photographing someone else was harder than I thought it would be. For me, I thought it was going to be easier because most of the time my family is pretty willing to have to get thier pictures taken. This time when I asked my sister she really didnt want me to follow her around and take pictures of her. I had a hard time getting photos that didnt look too posed because of this. With this project it was definitely fun to experiment with photographing a person and trying to capture emotions within the photo. It was also fun to play around with the different lighting and angles because I learned how much it can change a photo. I did struggle to put my model at ease but I think that is because she didnt want to do it. Maybe if I had a more willing model it would have been a bit more sucsessful.
