Wire sculpture

I thought it would be cool to do a small toy like figure. Found this toy in my house. I wanted to create a wire version of this because I like this toy and my sister and I got it for Christmas one year in our advent calendar.

I used the thick wire for the base of the butterfly and for the main structure. I then used thinner wire for the details on the wings and body. I did this because it made for good contrast and it was easier for me to add detail.

I was first going to do a ll bean boot keychain but then I was looking around a littlee more and I found this butterfly wind up toy that my sister and I got for Christmas and diced to choose it because ti had many different details on it and things that I could make with wire.
