acrylic paint, paint pen the main idea that guided me making this artwork is the collage that I did before this. The idea that guided that is when I saw a bunch of blue things in a few magazines I thought that that it would be a good idea to make the ocean. As I kept thinking I eventually saw other small objects and that is when I decided to make a big wave carrying different things in it.

the materials that I used to make this artwork is I used acrylic pant for majority of this painting. I used different colors in different areas of the painting. I used a lot of different shades of blue in the wave and the sky. I also used orange and yellow for some of the things in the wave. Another material that I used is a silver and black paint pen for the trophy. I used this because the trophy was shiny and looked like metal in the collage and I thought it would be cool if I could do that in the painting.

The process that I went though between my idea and my finished piece is I first didn't know what I was going to make when I was finding things for the collage and then as I found more small pictures the idea came together better and clearer. next I made the collage just by glueing the pieces in different ways to make the giant wave with other things inside of it. Then I used my collage as a reference to help with my painting. next I painted my painting by looking at my collage, I did switch a few things around when I was painting some of the objects in the wave not for a reason just because that was how I sketched it out.
