Artist statement

The main idea that guided my artwork is I run XC and track for the school and I like doing it very much. I wanted to draw this logo because I thought that I could be creative with my ideas in terms of what I was going to create. I liked how this turned out because I was able to combine all of my original idea to make a creative logo that represented what I was trying to say.

I made this artwork by first sketching out all of my ideas and then combining them all into one. I then outlined it int sharpie pen to make the lines marker. After this, my final step was to put it into photoshop and outline and brighten the art to make the contrast higher.

The process that I went though was I first sketch out all my ideas so that I could decided on one. Then I out lined what I had drawn in pencil in a black sharpie marker. After this I took a high quality photograph and put it into photoshop where I made the contrast higher and the lines darker and cleaner.
