Puffer fish
11x6
watercolor and acrylic paint
The main idea that guided my artwork is that I wanted to draw a puffer fish. I knew I wanted to make this because I thought it was a cool way to use circles. I wanted to make it colorful and abstract almost.
The materials that I used for this artwork is I first drew out what I wanted ( sort of an outline) with pencil. After that I then used acrylic paint for the whole puffer fish. For the background I used water color. I used this because I liked the way that it mimicked water.
The process that I went thought with this art work is at first thought that it would for sure be a puffer fish, but then my idea changed to a lion, and then back to a puffer fish. I like the way it turned out because I think it shows that the assignment was to show and make art with circles, but it also looks cool and fun at the same time.
