Selfie picture

Artist Statement

The main idea that guided my artwork was that I knew that my face was going to be in it. This made me think about how I wanted the artwork to look. I choose that I wanted to have less detail on just the face and more detail on the whole artwork. I really liked making this artwork because it was something that I was not used to and had never done before.

The only materials that I used for this artwork was photoshop. I used many different colors and tools in photoshop to help make this art.

The process that I went though while making this art was, I first selected the picture that I was using, then I put it into photoshop and made 2 layers. After this I took the paint bucket took and the shading tool and started coloring in different sections.
