For this project I drew a mechanical pencil, a self portrait and a hand. The idea that I had behind the pencil was it is something that I use every day in school and at home. The idea behind the ear was I sometimes wonder if ears are part of your face or more your head. I decided to draw an ear because of this question and I thought it would be interesting to draw. I drew my hand next and I chose this position because it shows different movements and shapes that I can draw and make with my hand.

The only material that I used for all of these was graphite. I chose this because I thought that it would work for what I was doing and it would do a good job showing detail and dimension.

The main process that I went through with the hand art is first I made sure I had the position that I wanted. I wanted it to be simple but also show detail and dimension. The process that I went through for the zoomed self portrait is I first decide on which part of my face I was going to draw. I chose the ear because I thought that it would be interesting and unique to draw. Lastly, The process that I went through with the object that I use frequently was I thought of a small object that I could draw and I decided on a pencil because I use it everyday and then I positioned it straightly and drew it.
