The ideas that are visually evident in my work is the idea of a drawing of a realistic hand holding a rubber band. In this drawing, I looked at my hand while it was holding a rubber band and I tried to draw exactly what I saw. This project relates to my life because it is a drawing of my hand and it looks pretty close to what my hand looks like. This drawing was made by using a 2h pencil for the sketch and a 4b pencil for darkening the lines and I did this all drawing paper. The process that I used to create this drawing is I first put my hand in a position with a rubber band. Next, I started to draw the hand and sketch what I saw, making sure I drew everything on my hand that I saw. My project evolved because it first started out looking like a sketch with little lines everywhere. Then I went back into the drawing and erased and added some lines to make it look more like my hand. The project started off not looking too much like my hand, but once I started to add more lines in, it started to look more and more like my hand. My next steps could be adding color. I think that this would be really cool to do because it would add a unique element to my drawing. I think if I was to add color I would do it by using watercolors.
Veiws of shoes

My favorite part of this artwork is the dark clean lines thought the shoe. I really like the shoe drawn of the side perspective because I think it is a very accurate representation of what the shoe looks like. My least favorite part of this artwork is the shoe drawn from the top perspective looks wider than what the shoe actually looks like. The inspiration for creating this piece of artwork is a pair of red converse. I drew a red converse from three different perspectives. If I were to create this piece of artwork again I would add color. I would add color because I think that it would make the shoe look really cool and add more depth to the drawing. Some concepts that I learned while creating this artwork is I learned about the power of your viewpoint and how much it can change a drawing. I noticed this throughout the three drawings that I drew because they all where of the same shoe but they all look very different because of my viewpoint. Something that surprised me about this artwork is how hard it was to draw the shoe from the top perspective. I found this hard to get the proportions correct and make it look like it was being drawn from the top perspective. To create this artwork I used sketch paper and sketched with a 2h pencil and followed along with a 4b pencil to make the lines cleaner and more visible
