Students will be graded on their ability to master several standards. Each student gets three tries per assessment. The links below contain a list of each assessment they will be graded on. The first column lists the total number of points for that assessment. The second column lists the number of points for a passing grade (70%). When the students take the assessment for the first time they will report their score in the 1st attempt column. If they aren't satisfied with that score, they have two more tries to achieve a score they will be happy with.
To retake an assessment, students will have to make an appointment with Mr. Alexander . They must bring their grading sheet with them to the appointment and be ready to take the assessment. Otherwise, they should come to tutoring if they need more practice, or simply visit the practice work section of the website. If the assessment was a lab or a project, then Mr. Alexander may allow the student to resubmit the project, or he may give the student a new project to do in its place.
