I have over 150 cookbooks and have tried to meet as many chefs as possible. Of course, every kitchen must have a "Joy of Cooking" in it for reference. And, Louisiana Cooking by Paul Pruhomme. Except for mine, since I learned some of my skills from chefs down there, by honing my pallette at this restaurant and from books by people he directly influenced...soon I will buy one. In the meantime. here's where I go for inspiration and education.
