Ingredients:
Salt
Water
1 9oz Package Fresh Fettuccine
2 Cloves Garlic, peeled and smashed
1/2 lb Thick-sliced Bacon
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Grated Romano Cheese
Pepper
Tools:
Pasta Pot
Non-stick skillet
Wooden Spoon
Serving Bowl
Instructions:
Salt and boil water in pasta pot
Dice bacon to 1/2 inch
Heat skillet to medium low and add bacon
When fat begins to render (2 minutes) add garlic
Cook the pasta al dente
Cook 5 minutes, remove the garlic and turn the bacon off
Place 2 eggs in serving bowl and mix thoroughly
Drain pasta and mix well into serving bowl
Add the contents of the bacon skillet and mix
Add the cheese and mix
Correct seasoning and serve with more cheese
Notes:
The pasta will make the eggs into a sauce. The bacon fat may look too much, but it will probably be needed.
Cautions:
Do not allow the bacon to become crispy.
