Namaste, this is the material covered in dharma 3B:
Today we read stories 7 and 10. Story 7 was about Ravana, who looted his rich brothers palace. On his way home is chariot suddenly stopped in mount kailash, the house of Shiva Bhagwan and Parvati ma. Ravana decided to uproot the mountain. Everyone panicked but Shiva Bhagwan. He pushed it down with his pinky toe, crushing Ravana. Ravana realized he was wrong, and started praying to Shiva Bhagwan. This shows how Bhagwan is always stronger than us. Story 10 was about a mandir that didn’t have a murti. The king offered 10,000 dollars to whoever make the best murti, but if the murti is not to his pleasing, the sculptor gets killed. One sculptor agreed. He said he has to go 30 days unbothered, but on day 21 the king looked. The sculptor left the ugly sculpture saying the king broke the promise. The sculptor said Vishnu Bhagwan is in the beautiful and ugly. The sculptor said to worship this murti, but the king didn’t because he thought it was ugly. Then Vishnu Bhagwan revealed his beautiful self from the ugly murti. This story helped us learn that Bhagwan is in everyone.
