February 22

Class was primarily focused on preparing for our upcoming Annual Day Presentation. We are so excited to see the children showcase their progress!

Mark Your Calendars:

The presentation will take place during regular class hours on May 3rd. We warmly invite all parents to attend and cheer on our young learners. 🙏

Student Assignment:

To prepare, each student is asked to develop a short story or essay in Hindi.

Duration: Each student will have 5 minutes to present.

Home Support: Please assist your child in crafting their content and help them practice speaking it aloud so they feel confident and comfortable performing in front of the class.

February 15

1. Speaking- we talked about what we did in the last week and the highlights

2. ⁠Reading- we had all kids read 4-5 lines of a poem we chose from orange book

3. ⁠word game- we wrote 7 words of English and asked kids to translate them in hindi in 30-45 seconds.

4. ⁠We discussed expectation of Annual day that what they need to thing about, how they should format and that the should start working on it and ask for ther parents or volunteers for help if needed.

February 8

We had assessments, and students worked on their annual day presentation.

Hindi B presentation will be on May 3rd, during the Class time.

छात्रों ने हिंदी में अपने हफ़्ते के बारे में बात करने का प्रयास किया। फिर उन्होंने नारंगी बुक से कविताएँ पढ़ीं और अलग-अलग श्रेणी के शब्दों के नाम हिंदी में बताने का प्रयास किया।

अगर कक्षा मंदिर में होती हैं तो इस हफ़्ते हमारा आकलन होगा।

Today, children reread the story “kaali Kheli” and shared their answers to comprehension questions. They enjoyed playing a word correction game on Wordwall and read Kavitas(poems)

November 9

Today, in the beginning, we reviewed all व्यंजन letters with special focus on मात्रा। 

We then reviewed the homework from last week, page 8-12 from अभ्यास पुस्तिका। The primary focus of this homework was च वर्ग के अक्षर, मात्रा, and शब्दों के अर्थ। 

Some kids did not do the homework from last week so we took time to catch up on that with whole class. We ended the class with a game.

Homework for next week is

1. Finish page 12 from last week (who did not already do that)

2. ⁠new home work -page 13, 21 and 22 from अभ्यास पुस्तिका and review ट वर्ग के अक्षर and मात्रा from pages 14-20. 

*Continuous reminder and request for parents*: the class hour goes by fast so please continue to work with your kids for daily practice (even for small 10-15 min time durations) for their faster learning.

oday we reviewed the homework from previous class (pages 5-8) from white covered book and some kids worked in class to finish homework .

We discussed on the importance of Maatra (मात्रा). 

Thanks to those parents and kids who finished their homework. 

Requesting all parents 

1. to work with kids to have homework finished before the class. 

2. ⁠to work with kids on Maatra for 5-10 minutes daily for them to catch up on, else they will feel left behind as we move further in the curriculum.

विद्यार्थियों ने आज सरल शब्दों को पढ़ने और आ मात्राओं के साथ शब्दों को लिखने का अभ्यास किया। यह उनकी नोटबुक में होना चाहिए. हमने हिंदी में २0 तक की संख्याओं पर भी काम किया और कुछ शब्दों का हिंदी से अंग्रेजी में अनुवाद किया।

गृहकार्य:

१) वर्णमाला लिखने और पहचानने का अभ्यास करें।

२) पृष्ठ १ और २ को नारंगी कार्यपुस्तिका में भरें।

छात्रों को आज 2 पुस्तकें प्राप्त हुईं। हमने वर्णमाला पहचानने और लिखने का अभ्यास किया, यह सब छात्र की नोटबुक में होना चाहिए।  हमने हिंदी में शब्दों को बोलने और अनुवाद करने का भी अभ्यास किया।

गृहकार्य:

1) वर्णमाला लिखने और पहचानने का अभ्यास करें।

2) अपने दिन के बारे में हिंदी में समझाने का अभ्यास करें।

मूल्यांकन से पता चलता है कि बहुत से प्रतिभागियों को वर्णमाला पहचान और लेखन कौशल को मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता है। हम A1/A2 कौशल की समीक्षा करने के लिए कुछ सप्ताह बिताएंगे, और फिर हिंदी B कौशल पर काम करेंगे। प्रतिभागियों को घर पर निम्नलिखित पर काम करने की आवश्यकता है।

1)अपना नाम हिंदी में लिखें। 

2) सभी अक्षर पढ़ें और पहचानें: व्यंजन और स्वर।

3) सभी अक्षर लिखें: व्यंजन और स्वर।

4) संख्या -1-20 पढ़ें, लिखें और बोलें

5) इस सप्ताह के लिए विशेष गृहकार्य : घर की एक वस्तु को हिंदी में बोलना, पढ़ना और लिखना सीखें।

The assessment shows that many participants need to strengthen their alphabet recognition and writing skills. We will spend a few weeks reviewing A1/A2 skills, and then work on Hindi B skills. Participants need to work on the following at home.

1) Write your name in Hindi.

2) Read and recognize all letters: consonants and vowels.

3) Write all the letters: consonants and vowels.

4) Read, Write and Speak Numbers -1-20

5) Special homework for this week: Learn to speak, read and write one household item in Hindi.
