Today we revised the first 3 matras and practiced some words with them . We then learnt the next 2 matras  ु  ू  .

For HW : 

Ask your parents to give 15 words with the matras we learned in class.

Review in book:

- Book pages 1–4

ONLY these matras:

ा — aa (आ)

ि — i (इ)

ी — ee (ई)

ु — u (उ)

ू — oo (ऊ)

We took test for all kids to ensure they are ready to start in Hindi B. 

We started learning matras and did ा   ि   ी. 

HW :

Namaste Parents! Today in class we had a test (consonants, numbers, basic words) to determine whether or not Hindi B is the correct level for your students. We also began teaching the first 3 Matras and how to read/use them with consonants. 

Example:  क + आ = का 

For next class, please review all the consonants and using them with the matras: आ,इ,ई.
