We watched Magic Box Malayalam stories in class.

Homework

  • Remember to send a video clip of doing your assigned lines of the poem by Friday.

  • The presentation will be next Sunday.

February 16

Students learned about the Malayalam words common Domesticated Animals & Wild Animals.

Students also watched a Malayalam Story with Animal characters and discussed the moral values of that story in both Malayalam & English.

  • In today's Malayalam class, the kids learned the numbers 0-50 in Malayalam.

  • They also learned how to say the names of some animals in Malayalam.

HW

  • Please ask the kids to say the numbers (daily) in Malayalam.

The students learned to Write their Names(First & Last) in Malayalam. They also learned to say the numbers 1-30 in Malayalam.


Homework: Practice saying Numbers 1-30, 5 times in Malayalam

The Students learned the Numbers to say 1-50 in Malayalam. They also learned the "Thiruppadi" song in Malayalam about the 18 Divine Steps of the Lord Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala in Kerala.

We reviewed the vowels & consonants.


HW:

  • - make sure to practice the vowels & consonants

  • -find everyday words in Malayalam that have the vowels and consonants in them

The younger students (Beginners group) are learning the Malayalam vowels along with few words associated those vowels.

Older Students (Intermediate group) are revising the Vowels & Consonants along with few words associated with those vowels & consonants, they learned in the last school year.

We learned the alphabet.

Introduced ourselves in Malayalam and said grade, name, and age.

Talked about curriculum of Malayalam for the school year.
