Today (09/28) in our Hindi D class, the students received their textbooks for the class, and started reading from page 1 as a collective group. As the students took turns reading, we stopped on important vocabulary words that were challenging and Rajeev sir wrote the word on the board and explained in further detail for greater clarification with Matras and conversational use. As a result, the students learned many examples of the use of correct tense, masculine/feminine, and singular vs plural in words and sentences. For homework, the students are assigned to fully understand the definition of the following words in Hindi: Letter, Excuse, Comforter/Blanket, Friend, Book, Turn, and Fun. Furthermore, they should read and have understood the first page of the textbook before coming to class next week.
In today’s class, we had a placement test and had conversations in Hindi with the teacher. We should the test results some time throughout this week.
We had our introductions, as well as the information about the Hindi D Assessment, Next we reviewed the Colors, Numbers 1-10 along with 10-100.
