November 17

Today we talked about how to get a drivers license, and Hindi vocab related to it. We also covered ages. We then read a story, and identified key vocabulary. All parents should practice vocabulary at home with the students to reinforce the vocabulary.

November 10

Today we had darshan and sang Bhajans at the Annakoot aarti. We also covered new vocabulary that are related to Ramayan and Mahabharata. Everyone should finish last weeks homework if it is not completed. All parents should practice new vocabulary and revise old vocabulary with the students.

Next week we will start learning some dohas from Kabir and Shri Tulsidas.

They need to write 5 sentences about Ramayan for the Homework. All students must do it on paper and bring it to class.

Today we finished the story and had a discussion, for hw everyone should write 5 sentences in Hindi’s abt their dream

September 15

Welcome everyone to Hindi D. In our first class on 9/15, we focused on conversational Hindi. 

Each student spoke several sentences about themselves and also described their major activities during summer.

Some students received their Kilkaari 4 books and the rest will get the same next or the following week. 

HW is that each student will write 7 sentences about themselves in Hindi- like their name, age etc on a sheet of paper and turn it in to the teen teacher on 9/22.

All students need to bring a notebook and pencils.

Next two classes will be taught by the back up teacher on 9/22 and 9/29. Our current room assignment was Cafe 2, but it might change. Please watch out for the HATS announcement for any changes.
