Wavemakers Meeting 

February 9th 2026 - 7:00 pm @ FLHS 

Attendees: 

 Laura Hokeness - President, Jim Fallon - VP, Hayley Galsworthy - Secretary, LeAnne Larson.

Apologies - Erica Taylor Radtke- Treasurer, Dominick Mancini (Boys rep).

Introductions

Agenda - Decisions and Action Items 

Minutes from the previous meeting approved - Motion LH & Second JF-  all in favour.

Treasurers Report

Erika is out of town - await next meeting for report.

Old Business

• Touch Pads - Athletic Director has agreed to split costs. They will pay and we will get a payment to the school . Hayley will ask about white foam pads for the installation - Rob True might know about it.

• Record Board - Girls updated and up. Boys records - only Jamie and the diving for this season. We will wait section / state results for that update.

• MN SOS -  Erica will provide an update for the next meeting.

Fundraising

DQ - need to contact them to get them to put the last day of school fundraiser on their calendar. (Hayley will do it)

Teams Update

Boys Season

JV Conferences are this Saturday, Sections week after.

Coach needs 

Would like to replace the banners that are looking past their best, Erica took photos of what the Blaine pool set up is like. Need to get feedback from Dom and Maddie for their input.

Other business

Laura has a locker for the storage room she would like to order to replace the one in there and it can store the starter and is metal and lockable. Around 950$. Laura will arrange a vote to get this ordered.

Hailey Johnson is taking on the website updates and can put her hours towards her NHS volunteering requirement.  Laura wondered if other NHS students could be approached to help with timing at the meets. Hayley Galsworthy will reach out to the staff coordinators for NHS.
