Wavemakers Meeting 

December 2nd 2025 - 7:00 pm @ FLHS

Minutes from the previous meeting approved - Motion JF & Second LH-  all in favour.

Treasurers Report

Erica will update for the meeting in January.

Old Business

• Touch Pads - Athletic Director has agreed to split costs. Jim will get quote from Colorado for 3 pads.

• Record Board - Preliminary planned for this weekend to install the synchro board. Mike is coordinating with Jim and pool staff to install. 

• MN SOS -  Erica will provide an update for the next meeting.

Fundraising

Butterbraids - we managed 92 orders -so will incur a delivery fee of $25. Should make a profit of a little over $500.

Teams Update

Girls - banquet was this week - Delaney got 3rd place at State. Captains were announced for next year - Maddi to stay on as coach.

Boys Season

First week of season practice. Increase in numbers this year to about 30 or 31.  For another coach, the roster needs to be 45. Perhaps look into the option of volunteer coaching?

Cub foods bagging for the boys brought in around $1500. Vertical Raise fundraising to start this week Dom would like to raise money for swim parkas for the team. Mike Hennen has agreed to give $2500 for this also. He is waiting on a quote from Elsmore. 40 quantity.

Interested in a training system ‘power ex’ - problem of pool storage etc. Can look into.

He would like a team computer for coaching. 

Pool tiles caused an injury for an athlete on the deck in the first week - the grout wears and can result in sharp edges. Pool staff are aware.

Diving - might need to arrange more away meets next year as the divers are now at 8.

Relay meet is this week, away meet at Mounds View is 12/11, first home meet 12/18.
