Wavemakers Meeting - 3/2/20

Meeting officially started at 7:03pm

1. Starting block proposal discussions continued.

ACTION: Joe Jarosz will be in communication with Mike Hennon.

2. Boys Swim Team Updates

ACTION: Joe will be ordering record board updates and Tara will be ordering a new wall banner for the Boys’ Team. Both will be paid for by Wavemakers.

3. Fundraising Projects

Epilepsy Foundation -

• Brenda is in the process of coordinating Epilepsy Clothing Drive. The date will be proposed at the next meeting.

ACTION: Brenda is gathering information on details of proposed funding potential and potential dates to be presented at the next meeting.

Alumni Focused Fundraiser

• Tara is in the process of setting up an alumni focused fundraising drive once the Starting blocks have been approved and are on order.

4. Discussions of Potential Future Fundraisers

• Rob and Ann True discussed the concern of the Wavemakers financial account after funds are allocated to new starting blocks. Future strategies for potential fundraising goals were discussed.

ACTION: Discussion will continue at the next meeting.

5. Next meeting on Monday, April 6 at 7pm at the Hardwood Creek Library in conference room L14.
