Silhouette Lighting

Artist Statement

The subject of my images for some of them I used models (Robbie and Eli). My images were made by using lights like phone flashlights with pink tape over them or the ceiling lights at school or natural light from the sky in these photographs to create the effect of silhouette lighting. To create the first three images I used a projector and projected just white light behind a skeleton and my model, Eli. The next to images I took three phones and put pink tape over the flashlight and had people put it behind my model, Robbie. The next image I had Eli stand over me and I would lay on the floor. The next image is of my coffee with the sun shine through the window behind it. The next image is of Eli, I had Eli stand over me and I would lay on the floor again. The next image I took while I was walking to school and the sunrise was behind the hills which created a silhouette effect. The last image I took at sunset, when it had the prettiest sky I turned the lights off in the ballroom and it created a silhouette effect.

These are all silhouette photos.

Something I would change about these photos is I would want to take more photos of different things on the projector using more colors.
