linoleum prints

The project that we did was linoleum printing. The goal was to make a print out of a photo we took.

The subject of my creation is Mariah and I before the superbowl. The setting of my creation is at my house. I chose to make this specifically because I thought it would make a cool photo when the colors were inverted. The steps I went through in creating this project were putting the photo onto the linoleum and then carving it so I could put ink on it and print it. The materials used when I made this project were linoleum and ink.

At first my project was going to be of palm trees but it evolved and ended up being of Mariah and I.

This project relates to me because it's of me. If I were to do this project again I would make it have more patterns.
