Artist Statement

The subject of my photo is Will, my baby brother. Materials I utilized was natural light coming through the window right in front of him. To create this image I made William laugh to get a good photo.

Compositions I used was high key lighting, close distance, soft focus. I changed the seconds of lighting because they needed 1 second of light let in.

I wanted to have a photo of will because he looks very cute and I wanted a photo of him happy. It shows that he is very special that he is such a happy baby even though he has severe neurological issues. It relates to my life because it’s my baby brother. I wish I took the photo from farther.
