color study

The project that we did was the color study with oils pastel. The goal was to copy a photo of something and analyze the colors and put it into a gridded form.

The subject of my creation is a wall with bikes against it. The setting of my creation is in Mexico. I chose to make this specifically because I thought the vines against the wall would look cool. The steps I went through in creating this project were mixing the oil pastels into all the grids. The materials used when I made this project were a tortilon and wild pastel.

Some techniques I use while making my art was blending you can see it in all the squares. At first my project was going to be of my brother but it evolved and ended up being of a wall with bikes against it.

This project relates to me I took the photo on vacation. If I were to do this project again I would do a more colorful photo.
