Abstract :
The purposes of this study are to study factors affecting the decision making on COVID-19 vaccination among high school students in Hat Yai, Songkhla and to establish a binary logistic regression model for predicting the probability that a student will want to get the COVID-19 vaccination. The sample used in this project is the group of 394 students in high schools under the office of the Basic Education Commission and the Office of the Private Education in Hat Yai Songkhla. The questionnaire is used to collect data, and its reliability value is 0.829. The statistical methods used in this study are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi-square test, and binary logistic regression analysis. The result of this study shows that the demographic information, including gender and age, affects the student’s decision making on COVID-19 vaccination. Moreover, the perception awareness of COVID-19, the attitude towards COVID-19 vaccines, and the prevention behaviors regarding COVID-19 also affect the decision making on COVID-19 vaccination among high school students in Hat Yai, Songkhla. In addition, the percentage correctly predicted for the students who want to get the COVID-19 vaccination based on the binary logistic regression model is 92.9 with the probability cut point of 0.5.
