The JIS High School values environmental stewardship. As a consequence we want all students to be mindful of the amount of printing they complete and thus their overall paper consumption.
We will monitor the amount of paper students use for printing. Students will be allocated the following printing allowance:
125 pieces per semester for Grade 9 and 10
250 pieces per semester for Grade 11 and 12.
You can access your printing using FYP Usage found on JISNet.
Each mid semester, we will access the printing records of students and if you have printed over half of your allowed usage we will communicate this to you. We will also do this at the end of each semester. We know that some students need to print, but we really encourage all students to think about the printing they do each day and to ask themselves the following questions:
* Do I really need a paper copy of this?
* Should I double-side print this document?
* Where am I going to store this so I do not lose this printed copy?
* Is my teacher going to print this out for me so I do not need to?
